First, I was cool (no, really). Then, I was the coolest guy on the planet. Then, Google said I was not even in the Top 1000. Now, Google says I am the coolest guy on the planet again. Cool.

However I should point something out: You may be the coolest guy on the planet, but you are not the coolest man here, but you are the coolest guy in the world, nor are you the coolest guy on the planet for MSN (Have you annoyed Bill Gates? You aren’t even on the first page.
Regarding Google boming, a question: it was the phrase something like “morinic preseident” which starting highlighting this, now the big G only takes this anchor text into account if these words are in the target site. What if there was a press release about this on the site, and the phrase was included, would this affect the rankings for that phrase?

Any one can do this, you do not have to pay a seo ‘guru’ to do this for you. Its not all about inbound links. At the time of writing this my site http://www.coolestguyonearth.com has only 3 indexed pages on Google and ZERO backlinks according to Google. And I come up number one for the coolest guy on earth and in the top ten for …on the planet earth, …on the planet etc… I submitted the site myself to google for free. Thats it. I’m getting nearly 1000 hits a day so I guess I’ll start putting up some content.
I do have a question if Brad actually reads these. I noticed you come up number one for THE coolest… but without the THE you are not number one. Is there a trick to that?
