Stomper Comments — Thank YOU!

The best part about launching Stomping the Search Engines has been hearing from the people who’ve received it. When you work that hard on something it’s extremely gratifying to hear from people who are getting a lot out of it. Andy and I couldn’t be more appreciative of all the people who took the time to email us and tell us what they thought.

Comments are being collected here. If you are a Stomper customer or Stomper News subscriber and care to add your feedback here, please feel free!

Brad, I just listened to your call with Ken McCarthy. I ordered your course immediately! I am so fired up about FINALLY learning from someone earning real Benjamins and walking their talk. Your “stunt” being #1 on Google for “coolest guy on the planet” is one of the most impressive marketing demonstrations I have seen. Kudos my friend! – David Ledoux

    Brad:
You recent interview with Ken McCarthy and the older one with Andy were eye-opening to say the least. Just the tidbit about link text was very helpful. For whatever it is worth your comments about attaining high rankings for product sites also applies to service and professional sites as well. I’m going to check out the blog and RSS ideas shortly.
    Again – much appreciated.

    Hi Brad,
Do you know of an easy way to identify PR5′s and above, by theme or product category, so we could launch a links campaign directly at them? Is there a software package that identifies them?

I got Search Engine Stomper last week. I e-mailed Andy and told him that I am listening to each CD 2-3 times each before moving onto the next. I then plan to listen to each one another time in sucession. I am a ‘newbie’ to e-commerce and I want this stuff to sink in. I’m excited, I have finally decided on a product line to sell and am beginning to make plans for building my web site (note: no capitals.) With what I have learned so far (on CD #5 for the 1st time now) I feel confident that I can launch an online Yahoo store that really has a chance to be successful. Thanks Brad, you and Andy did an awesome job. 8)

Hey Brad, Stomper is the best. Wondering what you thought of Reece’s recent launch. He claims he made over $1million in a day. I don’t find that hard to believe at all given all the hype.

    Brad,

Stomping the Search Engines is amazing! I can’t believe all of the information you guys managed to put on 10 CDs. I will finish listening to CD #9 today and take a look at the reference materials. I can’t wait to get started on optimizing and links!

I am looking forward to being the “coolest gal” for my keyword choices.

    Thanks for such wonderful material!

Thanks to Andy and Brad for an excellent product.

I’d like to expand on how to decide what to sell. Along with looking at the traffic numbers and the quality of the competition, you need to consider how much money you could possibly make.

Using the Wedding Favor industry as an example to be consistent with the Stomper: “Wedding favors” gets lots of traffic, that’s good. Pre-Brad, the competition was good but not great. But, the favors themselves are pretty cheap. The good news is I bet the average wedding has 100 to 200 people in it, so Brad probably sells 100 to 200 favors per sale. In other words the gross profit of each sale is pretty high.

If he sold 1 favor per sale, the gross profit would be very low.

When looking for products to sell just don’t consider how easy/hard it would be to rank on the front page of Google. Collect a number of possible products you think you can rank well for and do a business case. Calculate the profit per sale times the likely number of sales, then go with the product that will make you the most money.

The Stomper has been invaluable to me. It not only taught me stuff I didn’t even know about, it clarified so many things I was just plain wrong about. The best thing about it is that it has made me think. I can’t believe how many ideas I’ve come up with since “learning” so much. Thanks again to you and Andy.

I must admit a learned an awful lot from Stomping The Search Engines. I’ve studied just about every ebook and even taken a certification course. Your course goes above and beyond. Thanks for all the good info.

    Brad,

Thanks for making me feel so tired at work! The first night I listened to discs one and two of Stomping the Search Engines,
I got so into what you and Andy were discussing that I didn’t want to go to sleep! And then the next morning, I wanted to call off from work so that I could continue listening to more great info!

While I haven’t listened to all of the discs yet, discs five and six on
“Advanced Linking Strategies” have forced me to make a major shift in my search engine optimization strategy: a shift from focusing almost exclusively on title tags, description tags, and keyword placement to a realization of the importance of external links pointing to my home page AND to the internal pages of my web site. I am also going to cancel the “professional”
submission service I subscribe to and invest my time and money on increasing
the page rank, link popularity, and page reputation of the pages on my web
    site via external links.

Wow, what a powerful and relevant product you and Andy have created!

    Hello Brad,

I’m at disc 5 and so far I have learned some great tips and techniques. I feel like the total picture for SEO is finally being revealed to me.

    Great product.

One thing I have happening a lot this week is people asking me how does Stomping the Search Engines compare to John Reese’s Traffic Secrets. I don’t have a thousand dollars to pay for Traffic Secrets to answer the questions. Can anyone else make this comparison?

Hi Brad – I just had to drop you a note and update you on what has been happening. I decided to test your on-page optimization recommdendations on my already existing personal web site. It already had a page rank of 5 but it wasn’t showing up anywhere on Google/Yahoo except under it’s formal name. I made the changes earlier this week and posted a comment in your blog shortly after to encourage Google to re-index my site. Well, Google indexed it yesterday and….

I am #1 for my second keyword phrase. If you do a search for “funny Christian jokes” you will see that my web site, The Funny Bone is listed #1.

    I couldn’t believe it…I was ECSTATIC!!

All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!! I can’t wait to see the effect this has on my e-commerce web site when I launch it….stay tuned!

    Brad,

I was looking forward to the release of this course ever since Andy first mentioned putting it together (seems like months ago…oh yeah, it was). I felt as though I was “so close” in my SEO work, but needed to fill in a couple of blanks.

Well, it was well worth the wait. It has filled in the blanks and much more. I feel like there’s no stopping me now. I ran a quick test and got a brand new page indexed by Google in less than 48 hours.

    Thanks for this great info!

    Hi Guys,

How are you today? The stomper is a wonderful product.

The product is detailed and informative. I am amazed at how much there is to learn.

The key with this product is the emphasis on observation. The fact that variables cannot be conclusive. This is intelligence in action.

    Great people, great product.

    Have a great day

    Brad,

My husband and I started listening to the CD’s 2 weeks ago. We are still only on CD # 6, because we were so excited to revamp our pages we had to get started. We have been in positions 1-7 in yahoo for some of our keywords like Tuscan decor , Italian ceramics , and Italian Landscape Art. However, we only ranked # 30 in google for one term. Our page rank is a one, and honestly, after listening to your CD’s, I have no idea how we even pulled that off.

We are excited to see how the new changes will give us a boost. Thanks so much, Brad & Andy for sharing this info! We tip our collective “hats” to your efforts…and wish you continued success in your endeavors.

We are loyal fans…keep up the good work!

    Sincerely,

    Hi Brad

First, thanks very much for the outstanding Stomping the Search Engines CD program. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Second, I edit a web site focused on helping people achieve their goals. One way to give yourself a better chance of achieving any goal is to find someone else who has already done what you’re trying to do. That’s why I value your program so highly: you’ve done it. I just need to follow your advice step by step.

    Best wishes

    8) I finally got my Yahoo store online today. Man it’s tough working 65 hours a week at regular job, maintaining some resemblance of a family life and getting this site up at the same time. It took me almost 3 months. I hope I don’t discourage anyone who may be considering doing something like this. I don’t consider myself to be computer savy so I spent a lot of this time reading and learning. Most of the money I spent was on products to educate myself. I plan to start another Yahoo store soon and I expect to do it for well under $200, maybe even under $100. I did spend the extra money on my merchant account and went with Advanced Credit Systems, mainly due to the fact I knew I planned to open additional store and they don’t charge additional s/u fees to do so, other services do. And after what I read about Paymentech, I’m glad I stayed away from them. Now that I’m online, I am going to begin a Link Trading effort right away. I sell vending machines and in addition I market the overall purpose of the site as a Business Opportunity. If anyne out there sees this and it is topically relevant to your site, drop me a line and maybe we can exchange links. Don’t mis-understand, I’m not locked into topically related sites.
