Let me tell you guys, articlebot is a great piece of software with unlimited potential.
But! (and that’s just great) it’s not for the beginners, it’s tough to figure out and (what’s even better ) to use right.
That simply means that there will be not much competition in using it (it’s also pricy from some point.)
It never ceases to amaze me when people come along and tell folks what they can do on THEIR websites. Brad can “pimp” links all he wants. When you start paying his hosting fees, then he might follow your instructions. Moron
In case anyone is interested, I have a blog on my site (http://www.somuchglass.com/blog) and it is a PR 5. It has 1 link off the home page. If anyone is interested in having a link placed in my “Helpful Links” section, please send me an email. The cost is $15 per month. Thanks
Does anyone know exactly what article bot does?? I know that it generates articles for you…but what kind of articles?? General jibber jabber about a particular topic…can it generate informative articles?? Mostly…does anyone own it… and if so…is it worth it??
When are the new Stomping the Search Engine Videos going to be available? I thought that was happening in March or April? Is it still happening? I’ve been holding off on buying Stomping the Search Engines because I heard that a new version with videos was coming out soon. Thanks.
Joe: Article Bot is a text-manipulating, content-creating, story-rewriting tool kit. You put your text in, train Article Bot a bit, and get changed results out the other side. Really, one problem we have is in explaining Article Bot “simply”. If you want UNIQUE content (and A LOT of it), Article Bot is what you need.
Traci: You need to realize that unlike other “so called” “content generating tools”, Article Bot content begins with YOU and YOUR ideas. The samples show END results based on my lame html. But what YOU can do is - literally - limitless. That’s why I hate to show some of the demo sites because people might think, “So that’s what an Article Bot site is?” When, that thought would be incorrect - there is no “Article Bot” look. And, ultimately, THAT’S THE POINT to Article Bot.
Max: You are correct, Article Bot has a “learning curve”, but if you know BASIC html, it’s EASY. There are plenty of folks that use Article Bot with little (if any) experience with this type of thing. Now, what IS hard is grasping the CONCEPT of Article Bot. That is a challenge. There are no limits to what you can do with Article Bot, and that leaves many people stumped at times. Regarding price, $39.99 a month is “pricey”? Wow. I can’t take my family of four out for a meal for less than that. A movie and popcorn are more. $39.99 a month is WAY (WAY) too little. I know you are not making a negative point, but, honestly, we should really be charging MUCH more money. Our users (the power users) have asked me to PLEASE limit the sales. Raising the price may be a way to do that.
Donnie: Article Bot can give you whatever you want. You want “gibber jabber”? Article Bot can give it to you. You want “valid” content? You can get that too. What you do with Article Bot is not a function of the program. What you do with Article Bot is a function of YOUR desire.
Not to speak for Brad or Andy, but I asked the same question. They told me in an email that if you buy the first release of the Stomper, you will get a credit for the second release when it comes out…so you can’t lose. I went ahead and bought immediately and it was worth it. When you hear what’s on the CD’s, you will want to get started ASAP. Best of luck.
At $49.99 a month with a 100% money-back guarantee, if you’re not sure you need to try it. There’s nothing to lose for you, plus, we stop all the free-loaders from getting tech support on OUR dime.
This Article Bot sounds interesting, but I’m not that easily impressed. As a programmer, I could probably write something, myself, that does the same thing.
I found this site while searching for more information regarding Article Bot, due to a discussion about it on Metafilter (http://www.metafilter.com/mefi/40845) yesterday. The owner of said software, Don Harrold (who has quite a colored internet history), makes his point that Article Bot could be very useful for other things (other than spamming search engines), but unfortunately he is not advertising it as such and I’m sure most people who use it are using it for “unethical” (yes, I said it) reasons. Okay, you can use it to re-word your own article 1000 time (rather than stealing content from other sites to do it - which this software does do, BTW) to make it LOOK like each of your pages is unique in order to get you a better page rank, but is that really very fair to Google-users who are genuinely searching for quality content and not pages filled with zillions of ads? It makes me really really mad when I search for something and have to spend more time than it’s worth just finding a quality site. And turning around and saying “well, Google does it” is the absolute WRONG way to argue your point - it turns you all into hypocrites of the worst kind.
Quite honestly, I’m amazed at the delusions some of you
SEO-loving people have. These conspiracy-theories against Google are ridiculous, and I’ve just about had it. I think a lot of you (who are all for cloaking as a means to get ahead) are just jealous because you can’t be original enough to create unique web pages that people will want to link to and read WITHOUT THE AID OF KEYWORD STUFFING and will do anything for a buck. Frankly I find it dispicable, and it makes me feel dirty just knowing that people actually do this and continue to think that they are completely in the right. I agree with EZ that there will be a “judgement day” sometime soon. And I will sit back, grab some popcorn, and watch with glee. ( I also think his comparison of cloaking to athletes on steroids is SPOT ON.)
Also, It is really hypocritical to moan and whine about Google banning some of your “white hat” sites (and to that I say - if they were truly white hat, why exactly are they getting banned? Obviously enough people complained about your spamming to get you booted - it’s not all Google you know, its also the public who has taken action - many many many many many people send in spam reports to Google to tip them off - even valued members of the inernet community get booted, just look at what happened with Wordpress - http://www.metafilter.com/mefi/40845 - and Google was fully in the right to do that, IMO) while simultaneously using Google’s system to pimp your products and websites. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!
Plus, the users of Article Bot have just created a “hidden” forum so no one can see what they are talking about - leading me to the conclusion that they know very well that they are doing something inherently wrong, something that it pisses the majority of inernet users off to no end. It’s all just very suspicious, and I (and many many many others) have filed a complaints against Article Bot - just a fair warning to anyone out there who’s still considering using this software…
PS: to the guy who said he has 2 blogs and not enough content - WTF? Maybe try getting a real job and not using blogging purely as a way to make money (thus cluttering up the search engines), but as a way to communicate with people, the way blogs were originally intended.
Way to get right to the point WOW. From what I gather and I have no intentions of even looking up this Article Bot thing is that is is a virtual page creator to fool search engines. If you can take an article and recreate that article 1000 diff ways, which in turn creates 1000 new articles with exactly the same content, then that sounds like cloaking. So WOW on the point of you get what you deserve to those that only rely on these abstract filler pages for their SEO, I’m with you. I think that if you follow the STOMPER repitoir that you should hav eno problem getting and maintaining your rankings. But for those that are just plain lazy, I Pray that the engines don’t kick you out any time soon.
Ok,
I use ArticleBot. The main use is its ability to create unique content that varies based on starting with say a paragraph, and then programming various synonyms for words or phrases. Then you let it do it’s thing and you end up with many versions of the same txt, and it still makes sense to read it. You then can use a program to rotate the various versions of the text into your pages, (like Traffic on Steroids) or other script software that can pull from a bank of files on to your site. There are many other uses for this product, and the best thing is all the videos that are on the site to walk you through all the steps to make each feature work. No, you can’t master it in one sitting, but for a tool to automate your content creation tasks, it is hard to beat.
I just purchased articlebot. I’m still learning how to use it, so there is a little curve here. You essentially get content or write your own, high-light specific words and select synonyms that could work in their place. Once you have trained it, you can spin off 100 or a thousand variations of that article.
Like I said, I’m still learning it, but I do see the value in it. Google keeps moving toward clustering of words. That’s where article-bot can help.

I purchased articlebot a few weeks ago and just like Bob,I’m still learning how to use it. This tool has a huge potential. I’m preparing for my next site and I have more than 90 profitable keyword to build my site with. And I already tried some of the keywords with articlebot and it instantly generated topic-related contents.
Like anything else,if you put it into a good use,it will reward you a lot.
Has any other product created such a fuss in the community? I’m not sure about the software, but it certainly generates intense feelings on both sides of the fence.
Wow, another disillusioned ideologue. Get it(the Wow reference)? LOL, I crack myself up. I don’t like cats, so any sites out there about cats, look out. I’m gonna start reporting you to google because if your site is about something I don’t like, or if I just don’t like your site in general, it has to be spam. Only sites that I outrank or that I like are not spam. If your site outranks mine, even if I do like it, you are spamming, BUT, since I like it, I “may” not report you to google.
“I think a lot of you (who are all for cloaking as a means to get ahead) are just jealous because you can’t be original enough to create unique web pages ”
LOL, yeah, thats why we do it.We’re jealous. Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that cloaking works. Kudos for figuring it all out.
hobojoe, I’m not exactly sure what you are talking about. I KNOW cloaking works - that’s why it pisses me (and millions and millions of other internet users) off. It is deceitful. It is saying, hey look my site has something to do with the word that you searched for, when in fact it does not (or if it does, it is only because it’s filled with automated junk - or worse, stolen - content) - therefore it is a waste of my time. And I do inernet research for a living, thus, a waste of my time is a waste of money and efficiency. It’s not because I don’t like “your” site, it’s because, if your site and thousands of others are popping up in front of sites that are truly unique and filled with the content I am looking for, it’s FREAKING ANNOYING.
To further explain - Google is a business and a service, therefore they are concerned about keeping their customers happy. If enough people complain about a certain site, they take action because they don’t want people to get pissed and stop using their service. Are you familiar with their Quality Guidelines? (http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html#quality) - number one being: “Make pages for users, not for search engines. Don’t deceive your users, or present different content to search engines than you display to users.”
Cloaking is directly disobeying this guideline. If you don’t agree with it and are going to continue cloaking no matter what, don’t use Google because it’s their business to run and they will boot you and there’s nothing you can do about it - it’s that simple. They became so incredibly popular because their service works so well and gives back so much to the millions of people who loyally use it. You are just one selfish person who only wishes to abuse the “system” to get ahead by finding the loopholes, instead of working hard creating a QUALITY site that actually informs and gives back to the public. Like I said, they are a business, they have the ultimate choice of which sites they index and which sites they don’t. If you don’t like how they make that decision (which means you don’t like how the majority of internet users make that decision), start your own search engine or use some other method to pimp your site(s). Stop deceiving yourself into thinking it’s okay…. majority says that it’s NOT.
It’s not a matter of if someone “likes” your site or not. In fact, I gave you an example of a site that was EXTREMELY well liked in the blogging community - Wordpress - who just recently got “told on” by a peer - read about it here - http://www.waxy.org/archive/2005/03/30/wordpres.shtml If you don’t play by the rules, you get either get a warning or you get ejected - just like in life. Just wondering - if you went into a Barnes and Noble and stole some magazines, are you the type of person that would think it was all fine and dandy unless someone caught you? - because they are a big corporation and “can afford” it?? And I bet you laugh at all the people following the rules, living peacefully and joyfully, and call them sheep? Wow, you’re so cool… I wish I could be like you. (*layers of sarcasm detected*)
Hello
I have read the article on ‘article bot’ several times now and it would appear based on the demos that it a combination of traffic equalizer and directory generator.
Brad, I received an email from your partner Andy yesterday regarding stomper feed. My question is when will you be releasing the new stomper videos? I have th first stomper CD and I differnately learn something new every time I listen to them.
Regards
I received a mail from Andy yesterday and in it he explained about Stomper Feed quite a bit. The sample sites he built with this soft looks great though I have to say that he has a seasoned experince/knowledge to make it look just right.
If this tool makes your web building easier/faster,then this is what I want.
He mentioned that there would be some learning curve and I hope it won’t be too complicated to learn.
Recently,I purchased Secret Money Generator that enables you to create a virtual e-commerce site using a merchant’s data feed. All you have to do is to customize the looks of youe site and add some original contents. It works just like webmerge but with this tool the process is much faster and easier,so they claim.
Unfortunately, when I tried to create my site using a merchant’s data feed, it always caused an error though they said that data feed I cleaned up seemed to be o.k. Two months went by, and I was never able to get going. So I got a refund. If you pay nearly $300 for it,you expect a lot but that is only if you understand how to use it to its potential and only if the soft creator can help you out 100%.
Like any softs/tools,some unexpected things seem to happen all the time and when this happened the tutorial videos would not be the answer to solve.
I feel that quite often a software creator believes that his tutorial videos are perfect and that it would be good enough and easy enough for anyone to understand how to use it.
It doesn’t work that way always especially if the soft is kinda complicated.
So, I hope that the new Stomper Feed will be easy enough for me to understand and use it.
“Wow, you’re so cool… I wish I could be like you.”
FINALLY, the truth!!! How refreshing, even though you tried to disguise your envy as sarcasm.
“Just wondering - if you went into a Barnes and Noble and stole some magazines, are you the type of person that would think it was all fine and dandy unless someone caught you?”
See, this is the problem with most “disillusioned ideologues”. They use totally unrelated examples to try and make their case.Who the heck said anything about breaking the law? Last time I checked, cloaking wasn’t against the law. As for breaking the rules, its my site, I can do whatever I want with it, as long as its within the law. I didn’t tell google to index my sites;I didn’t submit my sites to their index; I didn’t put my pages in their index. They came of their own free will.
Could they boot me? Sure they could, I readily accept that. Its a hazard of doing business. Ironically though, they do not. I never said I didn’t like the way they do things. Actually, I really like how they do things.
Now what I REALLY find interesting is you assume my sites are not useful simply because I use cloaking. I guess Yahoo is useless too since they use cloaking. I guess (you might want to sit down for this) your mighty GOOGLE is useless since THEY ALSO use cloaking.
Now, here’s the real kicker:
“if your site and thousands of others are popping up in front of sites that are truly unique and filled with the content I am looking for, it’s FREAKING ANNOYING.”
You read it correctly, folks. Only sites that are unique and that contain the content wow is looking for are allowed. The content YOU are looking for is irrelavant. I think that sums it up nicely.
“Also, It is really hypocritical to moan and whine about Google banning some of your “white hat” sites (and to that I say - if they were truly white hat, why exactly are they getting banned?)”
This is an excellent question, and one you should pose to your google god itself, because it happens quite often. Don’t be so naive as to believe it doesn’t.
“lus, the users of Article Bot have just created a “hidden” forum so no one can see what they are talking about - leading me to the conclusion that they know very well that they are doing something inherently wrong, something that it pisses the majority of inernet users off to no end.”
Or maybe they want to keep disgruntled wannabe competitors (who spend their every waking hour doing everything in their power to get a site banned, even if its doing everything by the book) from finding out about their sites. Ironically, its often these same people who wonder why they can’t earn any money online.
Well I read good comments and bad about ‘article bot’, I think is a great tool if it helps you set your website as a competitor, and it may not be fair but this is bussiness and after all we are competing against each other. we migth spend more money on it but even if you have a ‘hands on’ website and create all your info you are going to sacrifice something.
I wish everyone good luck
How articlesbot work? Don’t really understand..

“disillusioned idealogue” OUT
Regards
Trevor

Abot is the best.
“( I also think his comparison of cloaking to athletes on steroids is SPOT ON.)”
Actually, its not SPOT ON. Steroid use is against the law, cloaking is not.
