Whoa, you don’t see that every day. I’ve heard of the government raiding companies and shutting them down, even sealing the doors and putting a notice.

But I’ve never seen the FBI put their sticker on a web site. (I didn’t even know the FBI had web site stickers.)

I’m glad it’s back. But I was two-thirds of the way through a Stomper Update (newsletter) pontificating about what is going on at Google.

Now it’s back (which was my prediction anyway), but my newsletter is moot. So I’ll have to start over and write about something else. I think it will be about TrustRank.

Google sure can drive ya crazy!

For some time, I have been advising SEO’s to pretty much ignore keyword density as a major topic of concern.

My normal advice, familiar to Stomper owners, is to just use your keywords “early and often” throughout the page copy and write naturally, giving thought to synonyms, related words, and even misspellings.

Here is a good post on the topic of “term weight” with a techinical explanation of why keyword density is probably overrated as an SEO metric.
