pr has plunged too, cant find him on google
he hasn’t been de-indexed like last time, cause he still shows up under site:
and he still hasn’t even addressed the first time his ranking plunged.. sneaky stuff he must be up to..
I’m curious to know what Brad’s been up to as well …

I do wonder, a strange pattern, that in homepage PR is so low, but in internal pages it is still high. A solid PR6.

Btw, I got the same problems, my site has nice PR3 and PR4 just in 3 months without any serious links, but the main page for both sites is PR0. Maybe in next update google will change something. But overall, looks that google fights homepage optimization, time to go inside and optimize for internal pages.
I’ve just finished Search Engine Stomper for the second time. I wonder if small changes have been made which has resulted in the PR.

Also strange is my PR has actually gone up (with no help on my part, as I’ve left that site pretty much alone) and it has DROPPED in the Google keywords rankings to 50, but stil #1 in Yahoo or MSN.

He must be experimenting. I remember on the Stomper sessions, he said that just changing a couple of keywords in the title drastically pounded his site down in the search pages.
Google is doing some odd things lately. My prediction is that the waters will calm by the end of January.

MWF has been on and off the pages for some time, but its most likely a technical issue as many webmasters now face with G unfortunately.

My sites have all gotten pr3 as soon as they were indexed, but none of them are going above that.

I wonder what’s going on.

Google has been behaving erratic the last while, ever since their last update.
From what I understand it’s a update with multiple phases (3 I think) so it’s going to take time for Goodgle to calm down again.

Well, as it stands now (just checked a few moments ago) – the site is still listed as #1 in Google, though the PR is 3.
It’s actually interesting to see how many people scrutinize this wedding favours website and document its every move within Google.
And should the listings change slightly, it’s as though the sky is falling

MWF is still ranking page 1 on G and MSN. Brad does do some experimenting and at times pushes the envelope, but there can be no doubt he knows his stuff. Rankings will rise and fall, but over time he has achieved high rankings on competitive keywords.

The rankings are nice to see, but what’s more important once you have the rankings are the conversion into sales.
It’s really crazy, but after all the updates and stuff that been going on with Google, the stomper is still relevant today.
One thing that seems to still rule the internet is Links and Content… Just like it did when the internet launched…

Glad to hear your radio back online, whats the latest SEO news
I agree with the previous statement that the fluctuation on Google appears more to be a technical issue with Google rather than an algorithmic change. Otherwise there would not be a downward, then upward trend, with no changes to the site meing made. As note in a separate post, as can be researched via the web, Google cuts HUGE corners in terms of hardware and software costs to produce these results and have daily hardware failures. Mt recommendation, if you make a change and drop, go back and change again. If you drop unexpectedly for no apparent reason, wait a little bit. No sense chasing a ghost that doesn’t exist.

Seems like the only search engine responding to anything now is MSN. Google is a mystery at times and Yahoo comes and goes like gangbusters. One thing that seems to work is good content and one way links (articles).
