October 31, 2005
Dear
Internet Entrepreneur,
Two years ago, I was just like you -- already selling online but convinced
that I could sell a lot more -- if I could just get better pricing on
products.
(Or are you where I was three years ago... sick of working for someone else, wanting to import cheap products from China and to sell them for incredible profits, but just unsure how or where to start?)
If
you're buying from American drop shippers or wholesale distributors
you already know what I mean. For
example, it's virtually impossible to profit on eBay using American drop
shippers for your products. U.S. drop shippers' prices
are just too high and you'll never have enough margin to make any money
on eBay.
But
what if you could buy as many products as you wanted -- for less than
half of what the drop shoppers charge?
| Here's a perfect example:
High quality all-leather briefcases
like these commonly sell for well over $200 in the U.S.
But
direct from the Chinese factory they're only $8.00! That's $192 profit on ONE SALE.
|
 |
 |
Now
THAT'S the kind of product you can sell on eBay all day long -- and
make a killing!
Or...you
could sell the products on your own e-commerce web site (and build your
own loyal customer base) while you use eBay to advertise your best,
low-cost deals and build your customer list.
As
you know, it's not just margins that go up with lower product costs.
Your volume increases too, because you can sell for less even
though you're making more on every sale.
In
fact, you could even wholesale your products to all the other online
retailers and let them do the work while you ship the orders and count
your money.
The
bottom line is that your business potential all comes down to
getting good, high-demand products for LESS.
And if you don't know by now, one of the best ways to do that is to
buy direct from the factories in China.

There's
a reason that USA TODAY ran a Money section cover story on January 26,
2005 that said:

"If you own a company that is not already operating in China,
or does not have pretty concrete plans to become involved, sell
it."

investor advisor in USA TODAY

If
YOU sell products on the internet (or if you want to start), China may just be YOUR place to do
business!
BUT
HOW?
In
the past you needed to be a sizable business or have personal experience
with a multi-national company to even think about importing directly
from China and getting products for prices like these.
Not
anymore!
Factories
like the one below are just waiting for YOUR order!

Here's
the little insider secret about importing high-demand, highly profitable
money-making products -- at absolutely unbelievable prices -- directly
from the manufacturers in China . . .
Anyone
can do it!

| Here,
we're talking to the owner of a ceramics and poly resin factory
with 2,000 workers in his showroom. His English was pretty good,
but his prices for handpainted ceramics were unbelievable!
In
his factory, below, a sculptor makes new ceramic designs in clay
which will be used to form the molds. This factory produces goods
for Hallmark and Williams Sonoma, but you can buy direct from
them as well! |

Rows of
ceramics waiting for painting

| Painting
ceramics pieces -- all done by hand! |
| In
the past, it was not easy to go to China, meet with a manufacturer
or factory representative, negotiate a sale, wire the down payment,
hire a quality control agent, coordinate the international shipping
-- or any of the other things required to import from China.
|

| One
of our agents, Tiger, is the college roommate of my partner in Atlanta.
When we started Kate Aspen, a wholesale wedding favor importer,
Tiger leased a new factory (below) and hired a dozen workers just
to support our product line. A dollar goes an awful long way in
Shanghai. |

| This
designer is making a working on one of our "rose ball candle"
wedding favors. From his model, molds like the one below are made. |

| At
the end of the row of tables pictured above, this worker is training
a new hire on the fine art of making candles. |
These are
the finished products: You can see them for sale (to retail businesses
only) on our web site www.kateaspen.com here: rose
ball candle and here: wedding
gift candle

In
March 2006, you may just have the chance to come to China with
us and see for yourself!
If
you are already in business, selling on ebay or from your own e-commerce
stores...
If
you are currently using drop shippers or American distributors, and
would love the chance to buy all your products at a fraction of what
you're paying for them now...
Then
this may be the trip of a lifetime for you!
If
you'd like to get the same products that are selling like hotcakes on
the internet now -- for half the cost -- or 40% -- or 30% -- or even
20% of what you can get them for here from wholesalers and drop shippers
in the U.S., then this may be the ticket.
Even
without your own ecommerce store, this is an eBay seller's dream. If
you import your own products direct from the manufacturers at 20% of
your normal cost, you can sell it on your own web site or sell it on
eBay and make healthy profits.
Plus
the trip is fun! This will be the best working vacation you'll ever take!
If
you've never been to China, join us -- and get ready for some wonderful
new experiences.
Have
you ever played charades in Chinese? (Turns out, it's a universal game.)
| So
is "rock, paper, scissors." Here is Jen playing with one
of our new Chinese friends and business partners. |

Aside
from the great time you will have travelling to China for a week, you
will find some bargains that are unbelievable.
| The
trade show itself is amazing. At the last one we went to some of
the booths were three stories high!! |

| The
shows cover multiple buildings and they are huge. You can find
a million different things to sell on eBay or your own store.
Here, our partner Shirley is taking a picture of a product idea
in one of the booths.

The
shot below was taken outside just one of the buildings.

|
| On
the trip, we will provide everyone with their own personal interpreter
and drivers for the entire week that we're there.
Take
my word for it, it's not like Europe where you can sound out some
words or always find someone who speaks English. You can't understand
a word.
Even
in KFC, I thought I was pointing at a chicken sandwich, but I
wound up with a fish sandwich.

If
you order products in China there are often minimum orders. But it's
usually in the range of $2,000 to $5,000. Normally, you don't have to
buy an entire shipping container.
But
you DO have to have a container to put them on. So here's the deal: If
you come on this trip to China with us, we will help you coordinate
your shipments, including putting them on containers that we are already
bringing over all the time.
And
much more . . . .
Here's
all the details and everything that is included with the Seminar
in China Trip:
Who:
A

Cost
The
cost of the Seminar in China Trip is $6,500 + airfare. Spouses may attend
for an additional $1,000, including air fare. To reserve your spot, a deposit of $1000 is required. Space is extremely limited... first come, first serve! (Signup form below)
This
amount includes all of the following:
Excellent
hotel accomodations
You will especially love this already being taken care of. A lot of the hotels don't even take credit cards. And the ones you can schedule over the internet can be total tourist traps.
Full access passes to the trade shows we'll be attending
The trip is scheduled to coincide with a big trade show -- The East
China Fair. You must see a show like this to believe it. They spread over multiple buildings and are ultra, ultra modern. The only catch
is that hardly anyone speaks English. Which brings me to...
Full-time
personal translator
We'll get each person (or couple) their own personal translator to
be with them full-time for the whole time we're there. (Very important.)
It's not like Europe where you can always find someone who speaks
a little English. If you don't have a translator with you it's extremely
difficult.
Food
We'll provide excellent and very fun group dinners at night that will
be a lot of fun. Last time we were there, we played Charades and Rock,
Paper, Scissors with our new Chinese friends. Both, it turns out,
are universal games. As far as the food, be prepared for some exciting
new tastes. And yes, it's all very "fresh." Meaning, it
was usually alive when you got to the restaurant.
Transportation
We will supply transportation to get you around for the whole time,
in addition to the readily available taxis. You don't even want to
think about renting a car.
Cruise
Director
We'll have an English-speaking Chinese person to coordinate
the group activities all week long. In addition to your own personal
translator, we'll have a full-time event coordinator to make sure everything
goes smoothly.
Speakers
We'll bring in excellent speakers to teach about the import/export
laws, legal issues like payments, letters of credit, quality control
issues, third party agents, shipping coordination, etc.
Factory
tours
After or during the trade show, for one or two days, we'll go
out and tour some of the factories that make different kinds of products
to give you an idea of how it all works. We'll meet with the actual
owners of the factories -- they are always glad to meet new potential
customers.
Meet
the agents
We'll introduce you to our agents that we use both to help
find products and manufacturers, negotiate with the manufacturers,
coordinate product samples, handle the quality control before you
pay (very important), and coordinate the shipping (for example, timing
the various loads into the container for shipping).
After
the show
After we get back, we'll let you use our agents and use our containers
if you don't want to bring in your own full container loads to start.
After we receive them, we'll send the cartons to you by freight or
UPS depending on how many boxes you have.
Personal
Coaching(!)
The
trip includes personal coaching by me and access to me and my staff
for the rest of 2006. I have three employees plus two partners in
my office in Atlanta that speak Chinese. Plus, in China I have several
agents, a partner and a full-time employee. You will have access to
all of my resources and you can call me and ask questions anytime.
Fun
Going to China for a week can really be a trip of a lifetime. We'll
make sure to include some sight-seeing as well!
